its mad annoying and terrible for engagement bc it takes attention from new post
if you see a cool topic from a year ago just make a new post thats the same topic but dont drag these dead post TvT
i feel like we shouldn't be able to reply to topics that are over two weeks old, or have punishment for repeated necroposting (one necropost every 14 days)
everyone brings up a dead topic every once in a while including me but its getting out of hand
what do yall think? if enough users agree ill bring it up to a admin. -

@Jujub_811 yeah, as I said b4 I feel like ''engagement'' isn't really a good thing on a forum. I think she means that it bothers her to see an old post getting replays instead of a new one. I think it has to do with whats more interesting tbh. i'll engage with a 2 year old post instead of a new one if it has more substance and I like the topic more. the idea an old post getting more attention vs. a new one is bad is kinda misguided imo

i feel like 14 days is enough to reply to smth if its interesting a whole YEAR is totally ODalso i think you misunderstood me, i mean anything 2 weeks old should be considered a necropost, and you can only respond to a few necropost every 1 or 2 weeks, i wasnt saying u shouldn't be able to respond to smth 2 weeks old at all.
