A few days ago marked Tourettes Awareness Day, raising awareness on the struggles of Tourettes Syndrome, a neurological disorder associated with involuntary vocalisation and movements. The day highlights the importance of eliminating misconceptions and stigmatisation surrounding the disorder and supporting better access to resources and care for those who are affected. This observance ultimately encourages people with Tourette’s, their families and advocacy groups to share their stories and experiences and develop a diverse community.
