Anyone have experience with Airdroid?

My brother installed a parental control app on my phone. i didn't bother with it much, but i wanna know if its easy to remove or not. or should i just wait until the cops/social workers are involved ?

@HappiestDay87 try to look if your phone has "safe mode" safe mode is a bootup option by holding certian buttons down when powering up, it disables all apps and just enables the browser and certian apps.

i did this to avoid another phones i had's parental controls when i was 10

if you have access to the device/email that set it up, yes, just enter the password and disable the app. if you can't do that... if you have the freedom, phone repair shops offer hacker services, for unlocking devices and stuff. you can also find resources for this online, like github

otherwise, you probably have to wipe it back to factory.
They're Designed to be a pain to remove

a few questions, which iphone? do you have acess to a pc (library or other)?

if you awnser yes to the pc, you can factory reset the iphone through itunes if i remember.

if you have an iphone model that supports it, i think there is safe mode.

update\edit: from my research i gatherd you need a pc for any way, you have to download itunes and plug it in the pc with itunes open and in "recovery mode" theres also one for "DFU" but thats for a "bootloader" which when your's is an app, you dont need "DFU".

also according to a few sites, airdroid is "secure" and cant be easily bypassed. it also looks like (i think) it has a dashboard type thing where they can control your phone.

@theadora i found smth in settings that says “remove restrictions”. and yea i do have a pc. so whatever happens i should be able to remove this.
