how long does it take to get over a ex?

Depends. I bond very deeply with those who I've dated and I kind of consider myself to be rather clingy, but it also varies depending on the situation of said relationship before there's a break-up. It once took months to heal from one relationship in particular, but even then I didn't fully heal until a year or so later due to having to constantly see him and his ability to get back into dating so fast with a girl I considered a good friend.
@Araghie same here and I don't know why other don't, they move on on the same day and I'm like, "did you ever love them?"

@andythespeedru ive gotten over crushes quickly but i could never move on from someone i loved like that, i feel like TRUE love never really goes away, it just changes form:p
i miss my bf sm but its ok bc ive made alot of new friends and theyve been hella comforting TvT ive just kinda been trying to focus on school and work and getting a drivers license and tryna graduate with the seniors this year, and being cute clothes, basically keeping myself busy to cope lol

Honestly, it depends if it was real or one sided.
Most people here are teens, and most relationships at that age are one sided. If real at all. You may not want to accept that you don't like them back, but it's true. When you love them, you must be willing enough to let them go for their happiness. If leaving will make them truly happy. Then you must. If you truly love them. It takes me a little if I did love them, it doesn't take me long if I didn't. And I just Liked them. -
