I got sent to a facility a month ago and my phone and door were taken as a result. It's been almost a full month since I was discharged from the unit I went to and I think it's safe to say that going back home I got significantly worse. I'm on different meds and I have to pretend that being at home doesn't make me want to do stuff that would get me sent back to a psych unit. I just want my phone back. I want to talk to my friends. And if it weren't for my school Chromebook I wouldn't be venting on here. How can I convince my mom that I'm better? She doesn't seem to think it's a mental health issue but rather she thinks it's a behavior issue. She said I can have my phone back when I stop "behaving like a child" and "acting out." I'm exhausted because of her and I feel like she treats me like a parasite.

Well. I feel your pain. I had to get sent to mental hospital twice. I had outbursts as well. So i feel you. What i would do is show her that you are more mature than what she thinks. Do stuff around the house. Prove your worth. At least that worked for me

first of all your mom is wrong it's not behavioral issues it's definitely a sign of your mental health you don't get put in the physic unit for having behavior issues oh ok the acting out is probably a sign of possible being bipolar or having bipolar depression let me say this about the meds are the worse don't take it trust me they made feel miserable like i was a zombie

@taytayy I'm not even "acting out" like my mom thinks I am either, it's just a mental health issue...
