Gamepad problems

I got a dead wii u gamepad (wont turn on, wont charge) I want to link my nnid to it, but i never got the chance to because of this. Any advice on how to fix it?
@AwesomeKoala89 no, but i have a funny story abt my gamepad: so i was playing mario 3d world on it and the game kept glitching and so i smashed it lmao i was so mad. not my proudest moment.
