I would recommend death note. It's full of thrilling and suspenseful moments. Personally my fav anime

honestly? JoJo's Bizzare Adventure. if you like the first few episodes, watch all of part 1. if you like all of part 1, then you'll probably like part etc etc, just dont get too attatched to anyone, alotta side characters die a sad death.

If you want to watch an anime then I would recommend these to start, something light is better than straight to big drama, betrayals, and unexpected stuff, including goriness and scary stuff because if you start with something like that you might not like anime. (Of course that depends on you, not forcing you either)

You could start with. .

2. My Hero Academia
3. Haikyuu!
4. One Punch Man
5. Fruits Basket
6. Your Lie in April
7. Black Clover
8. Mom Psycho 100
9. Jujutsu Kaisen
10. Dr. Stone

Now if you watched at least 3 of these you can head to something more longer, an anime that has over 70-100 or maybe less like Black Clover episodes is best watching when you've watched a few animes already and have finished them.
