Make downvoting not affect reputation

this would help with the lowered rep limit for downvoting, 50 to be exact, to make trolls basically remove a person's perks and stuff to make it less competitive

the entire thing about downvotes and upvotes is that they affect reputation.
if you want to show that you don't like a post without lowering the users reputation or can't use downvotes, just react with a thumbs down emoji to the post.

@poyo voting affects your rights, if someone downvotes you, lowering you under 50 rep, such as mass troll downvoters, you get perks wrongfully removed by stupid people then you need to go through the lengthy process of gaining back rep

at that point you would rasie the suspected malicious behaviour to the staff and let them fix it should there be an issue... otherwise you are describing a fairly niche case.

@Rain-Traffic which is why you need to be a staff member or have really high rep to be able to downvote someone, and like pwsincd said, it's a niche case and you can tell a staff member if that happens so that they can fix it
