For some reason whenever i try using the DNS address to get redirected here at my grandparents house it doesnt give me the normal error and redirects me here, It for some reason connects to the internet and doesn't redirect me. Is this fixable or is not. Because to me it seems like a bug.

try re-inputting it and making sure there isnt any errors, and go to/news->find channels(+)/
if that doesnt work it could be an issue with secondary dns or ip. i dont know tho, just make sure 2nd is 0000.0000.0000.0000 or 8.8.8.8(google dns)/ works for me

You can try the other DNS servers. The three are:

        • 45.55.142.122
        • 45.55.112.11
        • 46.101.65.164

Also, check to make sure that LaneChange (the actual redirect handler) isn't disabled for your IP at: http://lanechange-controller.fortheusers.org/manage/

        It should say:

No overrides for your IP currently exist.
        DNS redirection will work normally.

If that still doesn't work, there are some more detailed troubleshooting steps you can do with a PC here: https://faq.fortheusers.org/#not-working

But it is possible that on some router/ISP configurations, DNS will not be able to be overridden, and the redirect won't work.

Even in those scenarios, CaptiveDNS should work, but that needs another device on the same network: https://github.com/browseDNS/CaptiveDNS
