I have similar-ish parents and over the years i've just learnt to distance myself from them. Don't say you want them to die, because at the end of the day they're still giving you a place to live and food on your plate. It's hard now, but as soon as you turn 18 you can leave and finally be yourself

I start year 10 next week, I seriously need to lock in now. This is gonna be my second to last year of school and this year we'll start studying proper GCSE stuff. At the end of year 11 we'll have these really important exams called GCSEs, they're graded from 1 (worst) to 9 (best) and you need at least a 4 to pass. These results then determine if you can continue certain subjects at college or get a certain apprenticeship. They'll also be the things that employers will look at in future job applications. If I fail my maths or English GCSE then I have to keep re taking them until I either pass or turn 18. So uh- in conclusion ITS A BIG DEAL.
