when i was a little kid i went snail hunting with my granpa and put like 20 snails in a little yogurt cup then put leafs in it then left it in a cabinet and they just bred like rabbits and it stunk so bad my mom had to bleach it 3 times

So i feel like i didn't yap enough about the fenixmannlein previously even though i find them really interesting, so im gonna do a little bit of that yapping now, te fenixmannlein are earth sprites and dwarves known in the silesia region it is said that they can be heard kneading dough and shaping cakes, it is also said that they throw huge parties out in the mountainous regions, they will also abduct women while they're giving birth. they also swap out their own children for human children them being called changelings, to rescue the child the father must ride on horse back to retrieve them and lead a trail of yarn which will distract the fenixmannlein since they have to reel it in, once the child is brought home it is finally safe. they steer a ship to abduct all humans and anyone unlucky enough to come near it.

it was really dark and there were baseball sized clusters of eggs in every corner i opened it once and i didn't wanna tell my mom because i didn't wanna see a bunch of dead snail corpses when she inevitably opened it up so i left it for a week or two but then i told her and it was comparable to "mom found the piss drawer"
