God is LOVE. Chapter 1 John 4:8 - But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love. Chapter 1 John 4:16 - We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them.

Isaiah 53:3-4: He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering. Like one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
