the weird noises from my switch that is

ok so it's kinda making weird noises? i searched it up, and it seems to be an issue w the fan (makes sense since it stops when my switch is on and is kinda off and on) online it says to replace the fan, but i'd have to wait some time to be able to do that, so would it still be okay to use my switch? like would it ruin the fan further?
