It's possible. How much data is on your microSD card? I believe depending on how much data you have stored, your Switch needs time to process it all, resulting in your internet connection being affected.

Try clearing out the storage on your microSD card, or even transferring its data to a USB, laptop, or similar. Then, restart the Switch, and see how your internet connection fares. :)
