Introducing an AI Chatbot - BrowseGPTFYI: BrowseGPT is back again, and should respond to messages. I'm still working on improving the integration here.

Trump won
I'm not saying if you voted for Donald Trump (or sat this election out) that you're automatically a bad person, but this is a depressing realization for where our country's head is at. I thought we were done with him in 2020.
Don't forget January 6th attack on the Capitol, or the Fake electors plot either. And so far it doesn't even seem like he's losing the popular vote.
Hopefully he'll govern for ALL Americans, and stop talking about "the enemy from within". It's already dangerous rhetoric, it doesn't have to become dangerous action.

What The Hell.Yikes that's a really rough screen shot lol. I'll be honest, I had turned the "ads" dial up as high as it could go on google adsense. It's still not bringing in enough to offload the site costs, I suspect because most of our user base is not on PC/phones.
This is the group: https://browsedns.net/groups/hide-bdns-ads that disables them, which I made because I also want users to be able to "opt-out" of them.
We can look at crowdfunding, but I haven't had much success with that in the past. ao3 has a nice and clear page on donations but they're also set up differently (like being a nonprofit org, offering merch, and stuff).

Should I?Just echoing what Maribitt said, it’s not recommended and please don’t feel pressured to do so. There’s no rule explicitly against it though.

trans in Michigan are in big troubleHere's the full text of the proposed law: https://legislature.mi.gov/documents/2025-2026/billintroduced/House/htm/2025-HIB-4938.htm
And here's an article going over it: https://reason.com/2025/09/22/michigan-anti-porn-bill-would-criminalize-asmr-written-erotica-and-even-nonsexual-depictions-of-trans-people/
As far as this site is concerned, we will follow all applicable laws for the states that our users reside in. Likely, if my understanding is correct, that would look like preventing Michigan users from accessing the website in order to comply with the bill if it passes.
