Do you get a security warning when visiting the page, and the images/links don't work?

[Tutorial] Watching Videos on Google DriveStep 0: Upload videos on a phone or computer on drive.google.com, or get someone to share them with your Gmail account.
On your Switch: (Without the DNS enabled)
- Go to Album -> Choose any Photo or Video
- Press Sharing and Editing -> Post -> Choose a user if asked
- Choose Post to Twitter (Uncheck "Link Account")
3b. If you're already linked, unlink it first. - In the top right, choose Sign Up for Twitter and wait for a bit.
4b. If you can't sign out and are already signed in, go to: System Settings -> down to System on the left -> down to Formatting Options -> Reset Cache - Click Sign Up with Google but don't sign in yet!
- On this page, click Help in the bottom-right-ish
- Tap Sign In now in the top right and actually sign into your Google account
7b. Let it save your password to make this quicker in the future! - Click your Google user icon in the top-right, and then Manage your Google Account
- Now tap the square with 9 gray dots next to your icon in the top-right
- This menu will appear for a few seconds, then disappear and act really glitchy. If you look at it quickly, you can see the Google Drive Icon appear right about in the bottom-middle of the menu.
- Click on the Google Drive Icon before it disappears.
11b. You can click around the page and go back and forwards to reset the menu timer. - You're at Google Drive now! Either use Shared with Me on the left, or find the file in the main list.
- Click the three vertical dots next to the file you want to view, and then tap :eye: Preview at the top of the menu.
- Finally the video player will pop up and you can press the Play icon once or twice, after the player finishes loading
It's a lot of steps, especially the first time, but it fully works and requires no homebrew, and will allow you to watch as many Google Drive videos as your account can hold.
Keep in mind this is all using the Share applet from Album, not the DNS. In this applet you can only visit: Google, Twitter, and Facebook, but video works (unlike on the DNS).

problem with BrowseDNS's displayIt's annoying and I've been meaning to fix it. Does it happen on all themes?

Videos sent through twitter somehow work on the switch browser.Does this still work? I just get an infinite "Unable to load the video. Try again?" with error code 2801-2803, even on DMs through Twitter.
Google Drive is working, though (I think because they use the Youtube player).

can i mod a 3ds without switching sd card or pcYou'll need to find some way to get the files on SD with some other device, like someone else's computer or a phone with a micro-SD slot. There are also adapters that are made for phones that would work too, like: https://www.amazon.com/Triangle-MacBook-Portable-Function-Smartphone/dp/B092VV25PD/

Cannot use matrix clients. This should be doable! I'll take a look at debugging what the issue is– most likely there is some unimplemented method used by Element or Cinny that needs to be polyfilled on the Switch's browser. Because both are open source, if it can be fixed we can rehost it, or even upstream the changes.

hey where did the chat goAre you still having this issue?

confusedFor a serious answer, this Iwata Asks interview about the Wii U goes over many reasons for a browser on the console, and the Switch web browser is built by the same company.
Depending on your situation, the Switch might be one of the main ways to access the Internet, which is a very useful resource in [current year]!
As for the forums, they're to ask and answer questions about the service (like this thread) or to talk about games/websites/etc with others that use it.

Discord port talkI started looking into it more and it was harder than I described above... Maybe there are some people that are better at modding discord but right now it's not looking too optimistic.
It would also still be nice to be able to get a web inspector somehow, potentially through homebrew, to debug the specific issue further. I'm sure there's a way to do this but it's not known or understood.
