And major news, In April 2026, The Cruise Ship MV Hondius has had a strange and rare Hantavirus outbreak, Which had been anchored off of Praia, Cape Verde, As of writing of this article(May 6)it was confirmed that it was the Andes variant of the Hantavirus(Which is also conveniently known as the Andes virus)and according to a yesterday report from the WHO there are currently 7 cases of the virus on the Cruise ship, In response, The Cape Verdean government has announced it would create an isolation area and a multidisciplinary team to provide assistance to the cruise ship passengers and crew

Iran War
On May 4th, The Iranian military has warned the United States to keep out of the Strait of Hormuz, And new news from the UAE and Oman that they have intercepted missiles from Iran and the Iranian Media claimed that the Navy had fired 2 missiles and hit an American frigate in the Strait of Hormuz, And the UAE made another report that claims that Iran had made a drone strike a oil processing plant which had injured 3 Indian Citizens and on May 5th, UAE claimed it had been dealing with multiple missile and drone strikes from Iran, And as of today, President Trump has announced that it would now be ending Operation Project Freedom in order to finally reopen the Strait of Hormuz and citing that there will be "Great Progress" toward a potential agreement with Iran and Trump also said that the Operation will be paused for a short amount of time in order to see rather an agreement can be reached or not

Thats right everyone, The UAE is officially in the process of leaving OPEC and OPEC+, Its official leave will be effective on Friday, May 1st, This is due to the fact that the UAE has invested heavily to increase its production to about 5 Million barrels by 2027 and has been restricted by OPEC quotas since 1967(Before its unification in 1971, Used to be called the Trucial States which were controlled by the British Empire)

Iran War
Currently there's a continued on and off standoff between Iran and Trump, The President has warned Iran to "Get Smart" and sign a deal to amid ongoing tensions and a stalemate

Israel-Ukraine clash
And in another story, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has accused Israel of importing grain from Russian-occupied territories, Which include the Donbass and Crimea, Zelenskyy also condemned the vessel which had held the grain, the Panormitis, In response, the Israeli foreign minister, Gideon Sa'ar, Has claimed that Ukraine has not provided official evidence or legal requests to detain these illegal ships and vessels and claimed that the Panormitis had not yet submitted documentation for vetification upon arrival and Israeli ambassador Michael Brodsky has been summoned to Kyiv to issue a formal notion of protest, In response, Kyiv has argued that the issue was "Systemic" and 4 shipments of this illegal grain has been sent to Israel in 2026 alone, And as of writing this article, Zelenskyy is now preparing sanctions of the shipments,vessels and people profiting from this system claiming that such trade cannot be "legitimate buisness"

And in breaking news on April 10th Artemis II has landed succesfully on Earth well in the water at least it the mission has been deemed successful by NASA and has been a feat that hasn't been accomplished since the Apollo missions of 1969

The Iran War
And it appears on and off ceasefires have still been appearing in Iran, Recently Nato has now wanted to intervene in response Trump has showed them up in one of his recent speeches
