Y’know. I that could work. Because, PS4 might hardware from the PS3 leftover. If so, that could work.

Can you load umd's on it still and if you can how far can you get into the game before it crashes or glitches out. if yo you are playing the game and it crashes during the level or race depending of the game. have you checked the memory stick and the hard drive of the console if you try to get that fixed(your choice) and it still doesn't work than i dont know what to do next but ill keep thinking and i will try to get back to you asap. At the moment, I only have a ClassiqN (Plays NES cartridges) It isn't "retro" but it's the closest thing I have.
