can we add a thing in settings that puts a spoiler for gifs?

like, your gif in your signature is ok, but the most random shit gives me seizures so i'm nervous about going into threads

as someone with seizures i think this would be helpful, seizures are unpleasant and if i stumble apon a seizure inducing gif welll..... um not fun. i think this would help out a lot of people, is this a good idea for a feature?

This is a very good point, plus they could try to make it as easy as possible to "approve" looking at a GIF. Possibly they just blur it out/make it gray until you tap it. Still a very valid point though, I've actually never thought of that.

EDIT: This would also possibly help switch users, because there are plenty of times my switch just melts down because of ONE GIF. :skull:

I have epilepsy. Some gifs have flashing lights and it can cause me to have a seizure. This would be a great idea.

yeah, i was waching mari and kari (a 2008 animation series) and that gave me lots of seizures..... if someone uploaded a gif from the chainsaw secen i'd be cooked brah

i have to take breaks when watching things bc i'll continue to watch things even if i have a seizure, i look away or pause the show for a while b4 continuing

@Apollo.Is.Silly that's what i do when i wanna wach things with flashing lights, do you do the same? do you have any advice bc i don't like giving stuff up bc of flashing lights/fast moving images

@Yanderemenhera I do that too. Take 10mins break inbetween flashing lights/fast moving images and you can slso skip ahead of them. sometimes sunglasses help too lol
