My problem with a 'mental health department'

I'm not really sure to what avail having ANY mental health department on ddns actually accomplishes. Yet I find no reasonable objection to put forth, except merely agreeing with the sentiment of leaving it to professionals.

It was considered at one point to just be a place for people to vent, but after thought, I said the exact same thing.

I'm glad you understand then, because its not that I think its necessary "bad" or anything, I'm just not really sure what it accomplishes. Especially as a whole department, when a lot of people just get advice from their friends.

It isn't a BrowseDNS Department, I assume it's just a group. Regardless, you'd have to speak to the group owner.

Actually, I've been a School Councillor substitute a few times in my free periods, Even if im 15 and a half, My school is broke as hell, and The students' mental health are Becoming better as they spoke to me, even if my mom was abusive, She was a Physcatrist before, And she taught me how to comfort and diagnose other users, So ig i dont count??? Idrk, js sharing my cewl history with helping others, I'm not saying I disagree with your opinion, i understand it lol, but even a therapist needs a therapist /hj

Im going to do daily blogs! Today's topic is the new mental health department. I don't mean to be hateful or rude in anyway these are just my opinions, remember OPINIONS AREN'T FACTS!
So I recently noticed that Apollo has created a remake of IKWTCBS (I know why the cadged bird sings) as a new mental health department. I believe there are going to be problems with this, the main one being that everyone who runs the department are teenagers who aren't trained properly to deal with people's mental health issues. The same went for IKWTCBS we did absolutely nothing to actively help people. I think it's a nice idea, don't get me wrong but I don't think it's needed.
I think it's better to just leave these things to trained professionals and just use suicide prevention hotlines etc.@YourAriesBestie true, you cant treat someone if you dont know how to.

the mental heath industry is bullshit genuinely lets say you have depression now your doctor gives you antidepressants guess what THEY'RE FUCKING WORTHLESS you get addicted to a point comparable to meth fucking meth and guess what they can worsen suicidal thoughts thereipests They're payed to talk to you nothing else and guess what all this shit is expensive money the only fucking thing that matters in life to the government in the end its all bullshit ask someone whos on antidepressants or getting therapy it doesn't help it makes it worse and costs cash

Your post brings up the same problem that your original group had. The group isnt affiliated with any bdns department like raven said, if users want to have a group that allows others to vent, im all for it. Professional help can be very expensive, I have first hand experience with that. Finding people who can actually listen to you can also be scarce in a lot of areas, and just having someone to talk to can make all the difference. I do not see much wrong with this group at all, but that is my opinion.

You are right, Stuff like this should be taken care of by the professionals. I can't tell you how many people came to me for advice on things. And of course being the kind person I am. I gave them advice

I say if you don't have a close friend that will give you advice and help you through it, then a professional is probably the way out.
