My problem with a 'mental health department'

Im going to do daily blogs! Today's topic is the new mental health department. I don't mean to be hateful or rude in anyway these are just my opinions, remember OPINIONS AREN'T FACTS!
So I recently noticed that Apollo has created a remake of IKWTCBS (I know why the cadged bird sings) as a new mental health department. I believe there are going to be problems with this, the main one being that everyone who runs the department are teenagers who aren't trained properly to deal with people's mental health issues. The same went for IKWTCBS we did absolutely nothing to actively help people. I think it's a nice idea, don't get me wrong but I don't think it's needed.
I think it's better to just leave these things to trained professionals and just use suicide prevention hotlines etc.@YourAriesBestie you know. You are right, Stuff like this should be taken care of by the professionals. I can't tell you how many people came to me for advice on things. And of course being the kind person I am. I gave them advice

I say if you don't have a close friend that will give you advice and help you through it, then a professional is probably the way out.

The 988 hotline is TERRIBLE. From hearsay as well as my experience with them and the experience of friends, they don't pick up t'phone for ages and when they do, they often are disinterested/disengaged and will hang up. Either they reform themselves or a need for a new hotline arises.

Damn, this got popular. I kinda get the advice thing but yeah, just go to your friends not a random group of teens.
@YourAriesBestie But what if the friends are the teens? That could encourage people to contact. Apollo is a very well known mod. But that's just my opinion I guess.

@Melancholyyuga never used the 988 line. Back then when I was feeling down and having my mood swings. My sister would take me to the nearest mental hospital

the mental heath industry is bullshit genuinely lets say you have depression now your doctor gives you antidepressants guess what THEY'RE FUCKING WORTHLESS you get addicted to a point comparable to meth fucking meth and guess what they can worsen suicidal thoughts thereipests They're payed to talk to you nothing else and guess what all this shit is expensive money the only fucking thing that matters in life to the government in the end its all bullshit ask someone whos on antidepressants or getting therapy it doesn't help it makes it worse and costs cash
@phantemxtx I would like to jump in here, I have MANY friends who have received actual help from both therapy and antidepressants.
@YourAriesBestie Anyway, yeah, the mental health staff would be both untrained and hard to run. I believe I actually discussed the issues with you. If I had a therapist friend then maybe we could have a DNS therapist, but sadly I do not :C

@NightmareWolfie as someone that is on antidepressants. I can say they do help, I require them so that I don't have one of my mood swings and destroy everything
