ok, so the fucking gambling websites aren't actually going away, and to expect the mods to get rid of them all is absurd given the volume. the profiles are just run by bots so doing anything like warnings won't work. as @NightmareWolfie told me they have only one profile log in. i want to ask if we can do anything about this, a +13 forum with 21+ profiles with those links might upset parents. i request we please do something about this.
legally speaking, a platform isn't responsible for what a user posts, but that doesn't mean parents won't be upset about what there kids are doing.
i think we should try to emplment "i'm not a robot" to help prevent this in the future.

Well I'm sure the administration team is looking at it- For now I'll try to keep up but if you see them just take them to me. Issue is we can't really expect the mods to keep up constantly since the bots are just gonna keep pumping them out

even tho admins are probably looking into it ill throw out a few ideas. ofc these are aimed at admins, not mods, i doubt mods can alter the underlying code of the site.
maybe fingerprinting the bots to identify unique attributes; are they all coming fron the same ip address/range? what user agent do they use? whats their screen size and browser plugins? do their cursor movements appear automated? does it seem like a headless browser?
if the bots have a unique fingerprint, implement a new waf rule (im assuming you all have at least a basic waf.....right..?) to block said fingerprint. alternatively use someone else's anti bot software if you dont want to go through the trouble of fingerprinting and manually creating new waf rules. something like BotD or Cap would be nice (but not cap cus it uses webassembly which is not switch compatible), ideally with minimal user interaction and enough to identify and block bots, but not too resource intensive and making sure its switch compatible. proof of work algorithms might be good, idk about the classic captcha, its more inconvenient for users. but at the end of the day you gotta balance security and convenience so its up to the admins

We are working on taking care of these gambling sites. I caught wind of it first and told the admins about it. Now it is our duty to take care of them

We already know about this and it would be much more convenient if you gave us usernames rather than a post regarding this issue when we've already been made aware.

We have already removed over 80 accounts so far, so that is what we've been working on.

Respectfully, it is the parents decision to manage what their child is doing, it is just common Internet safety knowledge not to trust suspicious websites, so if they click on a gambling website and get addicted it's completely on them. We already have stated in our TOS that we aren't responsible for user-generated content.
