i see a lot of people wirh "dni 18+" in their bio on the art site i use, and while ill respect that i never really understood why. if youre putting this in your bio, you probably shouldnt even BE posting online especially when the art site i use is filled with drama, nsfw content being not marked as nsfw, and poor moderation
it always put me off even when i was younger becausw under 18 is such a small age range. id say like the youngest age that would even be able to cohrently interact with others online is 9.
i understans maybe it just makes the user uncomfortable, again, but...i feel like this sounds kinda weird
i just see pdople who r younger than me with SICK art n i go to their page to be mutuals with them and rhey have "dni 18+" like ok im unliking ur post -

i have no problem with >18 not wanting to interact with <18 as it can very easily be misinterpreted by.othersim striclty "professional" (? im not OVERLY friendly, i just give compliments a Lot) on that site, and obviously if im in someones dni list ill respect it but... i feel like people that have "dni 18+" are just stereotyping all adults as evil
better safe than sorry tho i suppose, but theres no way to even dm people there, its all public commentsi also see 14 year olds w shit like "dni under 13"
