lucian's overthinking (feeling writing practice)
-
lucian has a unique perspective on the world, his main job is an underground assassin. his overthinking causes everyday stress, this will be a part of the book im making, so here we go
Lucian walked around the alleyway, He never really Liked public or crowded spaces. As an assassin many wanted him as much as he wanted his targets, Dodging through the alley he arrived at the crossway. This was the one place he feared more than any, he was scared of the others. He always thought "when you're the best, the worst come to be the best" he knew this was his vulnerability, the one spot anyone could get him. he took a deep breath and focused. his senses pointed one each person here, one guy fidgeted his hand restlessly despite being neutral, his breathing slightly panicked above average, He planned a route to avoid him. His sensative ears picked up faint whispers, "will he be here?" The man who was restless tapped his ear and he focused in on his voice, "Most likely" this was another Assassin, Lucian put his hood up and hid his face, He re-routed and took a small path that was not his normal, Weaving those he deemed suspicious, He eventually reached home and checked his door thouroughly, And spotted a small black microphone. He picked it up and spoke "you'll never get me" and crushed it, He then told Baron "we gotta go, they know where we are. pack your things" he opened a floorboard and took a suitcase of money out and a spare for Barons stuff, They were moving.. But to where?

my previous topic which had the tag "baron" was my other writing practice, labelling the feeling of numbness, this one is more in-depth to lucian's feelings of anxiety due to being hunted.
