this is a vent, but it's mild so nothing triggering or whatever. but I honestly can't see my art as "good". I see so much wrong with it I feel like i'm looking at something my 5 year old cusion could draw. I feel like even calling it art is wrong and i'm just boasting my ego at talentless slop made of cheap colored pencils and a pen running out of ink.
it feels weird seeing everyone enjoy it, it really does. it almost feels fake lol, I just don't feel "good enough" I suppose. and I feel like by expressing that I sound like i'm phishing for a complement but if I say I am an artists and I am good at what I do, i'm being arrogant and egocentric and it's basically no better than a random stick figure you'd find in like, idk a little kid's notebook?
I feel like this is likely a self esteem issue, and not I'm actually trash at drawing since art is subjective and one art style isn't inherently better than another, like trying to compare a bean mouth western cartoon character to a pointy-jawed anime girl.
idk, does anyone else feel this way? I don't really vent too often on here, I just kinda did now since it's a mild vent relating to what I do on the site.

Ik how you feel cause I had that when I was younger its supposed to be called "art block" which many people and I have, but don't give up or self judge yourself because from the road your taking that is same of mine is telling me your going to be a great artist in the future! You may also look up any drawing tutorials or trace a few art that looks good to you, but lastly you should draw how you feel about it like if I should put more thick layers it would look good to me so I do those, so its usually the saying that i made up. even if things look hard or is hard it's best if you get used to the feeling and once you do it will seem no problem!

i'm actually going to school to be an animator later this year or early next year so i'll be educated there, I do draw things for other people, i've made several posts about it and i've had people tell me that they'd actually pay for my stuff too, and i've actually gotten a gig that I'll be making 250$ from but it all doesn't feel real you know? like everyone's lying about it to make me feel better. drawing isn't hard for me, it's just valuing it ig
