Looking for advice (BestieChat)

So BestieChat has now surpassed it's 1 year anniversary! But there's a problem, there's no ACTIVE USERBASE!!! Now, here's where you kind Samaritans may be able to help! Bestiechat is a forum, very much similar to BrowseDNS (sorta) so what about BDNS draws you in? What type of topics do you like? and most importantly, is there anything that you would like me to add to Bestiechat that could improve YOUR experience? (assuming this post suddenly gave you the urge to sign up ofc)

Ah, so what I do is type my first two words together likethis and then add the space by clicking inbetween them using my keyboard.

I'm yet to actually fix this, mainly because I have hardly any coding knowledge and no knowledge of what's actually causing it

This could very well be a result of my very small brain but the user interface confuses me. Everything is a bit close together and something more similar to the layout of BDNS would be better for me personally.

Also, question, do you have to verify your email in order to post?

The spacing glitch sounds like the input handling is trimming or merging tokens, so clicking between the words is probably just a workaround. On the interface point, tighter layouts can work once you're used to them, but if buttons sit close together it hurts scanning and tapping. I'd second spacing it out over copying another site's layout wholesale. As for the email question, that depends on how the posting permissions are configured, so it's worth checking the sign-up or account settings rather than assuming.
