Possible development?

Videos could be possible using video to GIF converters and posted into cached websites, chunk out videos into smaller gifs so its almost like clips, and play MP3's in sync to the GIF, its very inconvienent, and i havent even seen if MP3's could be played, but if so videos could be played in minimal functionality.

@dafunkymonke this post makes no sense and mp3 is a video not sound. if thats what you are hinting at

Logen, mp3 is audio not video. Mp4 is video

Using gif images or html canvas+javascript might get clips of videos to play, but you won't get any sound to come out of the DNS browser still.
The best approach for videos will always be through one of the social applets, with the drawback being that they only work on FB. Technically if you could get custom javascript or an iframe to work on FB it might be possible, but they've become more strict about that in the last couple years.

like 4ish years ago, you could use a custom Google Sites page to host content, but Nintendo then blocked Google Sites explicitly. Google Drive technically can still work (I have a thread on here about it) but accessing it is pretty annoying, and then it's usage is limited anyway: https://browsedns.net/topic/1905/tutorial-watching-videos-on-google-drive
Not sure if that entry point still works with the twitter -> X rebranding either, but there is probably a way to get to Google Drive via FB as well.

@VGMoose I remember the google sites being able to, i havent checked in a very very long time but i used a web proxy to acsess it and it worked, i havent seen if audio works on it either, in terms of development i was thinking that the GIFs were posted on some isolated website with nothing besides a GIF and a MP3, the website could be anything, possibly some sort of archive, i could create the website of nothing but small, low preformance links and files. i was trying to see if audio can play on the browser without video, and manually activating the audio to align with the gif. I cantt check as my switch it broken but i could make something like it very easily
