Downvotes?

I took a like, 9 months break from dns and ive been active for a bit, but i had just realized that they removed downvotes? What for? If they're removed why is there a controversial section? I just think people should be able to express their dislike for a comment without saying "I don't like that comment", almost like constructive criticism.

I removed them as some users had been engaging in targeted downvoting of all posts from another user, and I didn’t like downvotes enabling that kind of thing.

@VGMoose Ahh i see, I can understand downvotes being disabled for that kind of drama, do you see that it would return? As the community grows, as well as moderation, situations like mass downvoting could be handled, and downvoting could still be used individually to give feedback.
