Y'all are slowly making this more and more unusable
The only reason why I'm still here is for my partner, who I quite literally can't talk to anywhere else -
As far as I know from when I started, there were no ads, both on my phone and computer
And now I'm getting blasted with them? I can already tell DNS has slowed down with loading just from that
If y'all really need money, I'm sure people would be happy to lend over a few dollars to keep this site up, I know if I had the money I'd send some over -

Actually I don’t really mind it cuz you can close the ad or close the site and get back in it’s not that hard but I do think the ads are fucking useless but they are not annoying

Yikes that's a really rough screen shot lol. I'll be honest, I had turned the "ads" dial up as high as it could go on google adsense. It's still not bringing in enough to offload the site costs, I suspect because most of our user base is not on PC/phones.

We can look at crowdfunding, but I haven't had much success with that in the past. ao3 has a nice and clear page on donations but they're also set up differently (like being a nonprofit org, offering merch, and stuff).

most of the users are minors so a lot mightn't have access to debit cards and the like; or have monitored ones but it's worth a try -
