Did you know Cinco de mayo is most commonly celebrated in America compared to the originated country (mexico)? The holiday gained popularity during the Chicano Movement of the 1960s and 1970s. we dont celebrate it, but god do i LOVE pan de muerto. its a dish eaten during day of the dead, and its like this sweet bread, sometimes with a colorful sugar glaze
