sometimes when writing songs i give myself a challenge to write about a certain theme or topic this one was a country breakup song? i was probably 18 when i made this

he had an angelic smile but he turned out to be a demon in disguise

but soon i learned in my own time that ugly lived on the inside

I admit it was fright he apologized how could i just say goodbye?
but then i learned in due time his apologies dont amount to a dime

im tired of him always beating up on me

i got the idea to write this after hearing some lyrics in "say no to this" theres a verse that goes "my husbands doing me wrong beating me cheating me mistreating me suddenly he's up and gone i dont have the means to go on" fun facttttt >_<
