deep in my heart i hate re-stringing guitars (rant/story)

so a few days ago i wa tuning my guitar and i tightened the high-e string too much nd it snapped so today i bought some new strings and was pulling the peg thingys out the bottom
of the guitar and loosening the strings so i could take them out and i was like "hey this is pretty easy" turns out i lied to myself bc when i wa putting th new strings in it was living hell to cut them and the top ends were all different lengths (thats bad) and i was putting them in th right order on the bottom end but where the tuner knob thingys are i messed it all up and i put them all in the wrong places so it was horribly out of tune and i couldnt finish it bevause one of the strings kept slipping to another position so next time im just gonna bring it to someone who knows how to do re-stringing

Sage's pooks Spawn Worshipper #BANRECROOMPREDS we read fanfic lol Surge supremacy BDNS DATABASE Banned@magooty0117 the top of my guitar looks a hot mess tbh i only put effort into cutting it neat when i know im playing in a public setting heres a tip when you string them yourself because your gonna have to learn how to do that yourself eventuallyyyyy string then one at a time remove the string then replace it with the new then go on to the next some ppl say this help keep the tension on the guitar instead of removing them all and releasing the tension then putting new ones back on and giving it new tension? idk but for you in your case it will help you not to get mixed up
