I agree, and I can speak from experience that it's terrible and hurts greatly. Though, not all the time, something can happen that cuts communications between people. Just like how my phone was wiped so I lost contact with plenty of people

It's not that hard to reconnect with people if they are still on the same app or website. As long as you re-login to your account. Especially when it's online friends, partners, or family members. Who knows? The only things you can't get back when you whip out your phone is all the photos and phone numbers, but accounts like this on browsedns/discord/Snapchat/tiktok/Facebook/Instagram can be relogged into.
Cuz those people that you would lose contact with, is gonna worry about you a lot more than you know it. It's never gonna hurt to try

You can click forgot password on a lot of them, and most of them you can login with an Google account. Which is a super nice feature

and anyway, i was dating someone on here, barely counts as dating imo, but one day they js changed their bio to single. never thought it would last long, but really? couldve sent me like 4 words. and when my homie discovered the bio change, and asked them about us dating, they hit the "tf you talking bout". really vro? maybe the person ghosting them is too nervous or scared to break up with them? like if theyre in a manipulative relationship, they might be scared that their partner is gonna threathen them with something really bad? idk.

my story is that i dated this guy back in may of 2024 who also went to prison for like 11 years anyways so someone they know made him mad so i tell him im watch a movie well he ended the call on me leaves a message saying im done with you well i call him he picks up starts yelling me top of his lungs at me thank goodness the power went out after that didnt talk to him for months i decided to ghost him when talk to him i told him that was taking social media break but i didnt wanna tell him the real truth

my ex manipulated me into helping him stalk another girl that had almost put a restraining order put on him. he said so nasty shit, and told me he only "insisted" i reach out. i'm actually terrified of him. if he makes another alt phone number to text a phone we have (i don't have my own btw) he could get me in big trouble. i'm too afraid to block him but he's left me alone for a while now, but he always comes back. usually on a new phone number i hadn't blocked yet.... i'd rather him text me on here when he does bc my parents can't read it.
