honestly, this post was made to show how we as a society will always bypass the rules

@Yanderemenhera It always will.
There's always someone who will.
-
yep
-
Mhm. I agree with this.
This new, ''slang'' is actually starting to get annoying for the most part.
for example, skibidi, alpha, etc etc...Especially at school. I do not want to hear, ''67'' at 7:00am. We are in high school not middle school. like respectfully stfu.
things like skibidi alpha or 67 never meant anything they became "slang" to mock modern slang, none of them have any meaning
-
ok sorry for mini ranting under your rant

-

@lewcyyi That's why i said, ''etc etc...'' theres some of those words that actually mean stuff.
But in general, slang like that is starting to get annoying because thats all I hear anymore.
-
i feel like everyone is misinterpreting this post
-
honestly the direction that mordern language has taken is not very surprising. it could be allowed that modern slang might just be the filler for a lack of substance to say in general. there is a lot of slang that actually has a purpose (ie to make writing easier/more efficient). but overall a lot of it, in my opinion, is just filler. thats just my opinion...

@Yanderemenhera said in how censorship fails. (a social comentery. read b4 replying.):

that would be fair considering how it was moderately hard to interpret this post as it is.
-
i was talking about how censorship fails bc everyone finds work arounds
-
and sometimes censorship just gets dumb. i can't say kill on youtube... but unalive is fine? they both mean the same exact thing
-
like, everyone knows what gooning is, that phrase is ok on here, buuuutt if i were to use a similar word i would be banned
-
i was talking about how censorship fails bc everyone finds work arounds
@Yanderemenhera oh that makes sense (i read it completely differently)
-
fair
-

@Yanderemenhera thats the problem with censorship in general. it doesn't change what people actually talk about/actually think, they usually express it anyways. censorship is usually just the best attempt to stop stuff like that
-
my point is, everyone will always find work arounds, like saying pew pew of boom stick as aposed to the three letter word
-
and honestly, yes. i understand this is a 13+ site, but i believe this isn't really work'n but i do not have sultutons to this issue. i doubt It'll ever go away, we'll just make up new words
-
its just a paradox at the end of the day, it truly is.
-
Not necessarily paradoxical, in the sense that you don't get a situation that makes sense with reason, but the result is illogical
-
i could just make up a new word, lets say the word "dog" was banned, i'd start saying fourlegged furry or something
