sooo idkk these ones is gonna be kinda weird...
in my portuguese culture, the way we make pasta salad is with the ordinary things such as pasta, mayo+sourcream (can use olive oil as alternative), salt, pepper, garlic, bell pepper, parsley, but instead of like a lot of vegetables, we put chickpeas. its really yummy and simple to make, and you can really add anything else to it, the point is to get some more carbs and grains.
now at my grandma house, she is guyanese, so we make it a bit different. i know not everyone likes fish, but in my family we are heavy on fish. we eat a lot of chicken and fish. we also stir fry a lot of stuff... so the way we make that would be is the pasta, cheese, milk, mustard, and wiri wiri. then stir fry it with tuna, peas, shredded carrots, and bell peppers. garnish with vinegar, salt, and pepper :))
we don't make a lot of... pasta dishes, because most of the food we eat is curry based, meat based, or spicy, so i'd say the pasta salad dishes i know are quite boring, but its still worth a try if you wanna try something new!
