i would like to make a quick apology for needing to water this down bc it takes away from its importance, but its browse dns so....

menhera or めんへら is a drivitive from a durogitory term in Japan for the mentally ill, mentalheather is a term used by those to discribe the mentally unwell in Japan. its a term full of stigma, hate, and crulty. but the mentally ill reclaimed the term menhera as a way to express themselves. it's like if someone was calling you gay but you turned around and just said FU and started calling yourself gay.

in Japan, menhera became its own fashion statement, (similar) to yammiekawwie, those who suffer from these issues would wear vent art they made to express themselves. menhera fashion is meant to look comfortable, like something you would wear when ill. menhera fashion is usually vent art on a oversized sweatshirt, and leggings.
now, i did gloss over a lot. i do apologize. and my next topic will be about yammie kawwie.
and the colors for menhera are more harsh, as apposed to the pastels in yammiekawwie.
