i don't post much about irl stuff as you know, but this will affect my time on here. where i live i'm old enough to drop out school and work a max of 30 hours a week. the hardist part of this will be convincing my parents to let me do this. i'm gonna have to get a GED anyway bc of my mom forcing me to do shitty homeschooling

    my enter life.

but i'm not going to get the luxury of boarding school, and my mom did find a group home.... buuuuttt it seems to be a gay converting camp with questionable child labor, and thankfully i think i convinced her to let me not go to that. so uh yeah, i'm trying to drop out at 16, im in 11th and i haven't got the stuff needed to complete high school. my mom is such a bastard :D

You should get your GED regardless of what your mother says if you plan on getting more beneficial jobs and opened doors in the future.

Just get that over with and you'd probably be able to get more jobs and everything else you want to do. Without it you don't have many work options and/or any college choices.

After you get your GED, you don't even have to go to college or further your education, but dropping out is the worst mistake a human can make in their life and eventually does not get them anywhere.

If you believe that dropping out will support you 10-15 years (or more) from now then go ahead and do what you think is best, but choice wisely. You can always go back for your GED.

@Raven basically, were i am at now, i won't be able to get a highschool deploma bc im missing credits i cannot get. cps is heavily involved in my life so they know about that, you would be surprised how much truencey homeschooling will let you get away with. i don't have access to the classes necessary for a highschool deploma so, i'll drop out and get a GED at 18. i need to work my butt off so i can get away from this hell hole jun 17th 2027. thankyou so much for the advice, i really need it.
