this site has a serious bot issue, and how to maybe fix some of it

most of the gambling website profiles usually are like winplay67com or something like that, ik there's a rule about not having family terms such as daddy in your usernamemaybe we should not allow website names as profiles? i've personally looked into the links in there profiles and i think all of them are being run by the same goup/person, if i had adult website links in my profile i would likely be perma banned, but because these are just bots they'd make another account. if i had to guess they are using some sort of proxy network to hide there IPs bc these sites are just AI virus filled gambling spam. my friend has been making bots like these (tho he doesn't attack sites, and he isn't doing it here) he probably would know more about this than i do, but seriously, the fact mods constantly need to change profile names and such is just sad. we could also do capcha for making a profile, like the one for bestiechat works good on switch.ik i have posted about this b4, but i haven't really seen any change and i genuinely want to help improve this site and fix the AI problem this site has been having b4 it gets any worse

we take one down, by changing the name, and getting rid of the link, but 2 more pop up in its place. it is like a beast from mythology, plus there's recently been really young kids on here, ik that isn't the sites problem, its the parents but seriously man, the 8 year old whom i met once has no business gambling....

my main issue is with the gambling websites, but those are harder to fix, sure, we just change the name to idk @GamblingisBad48 but then more just pop up

The bot issue isn't incredibly horrible it is like you're simply searching for bot profiles, they don't generate post content and mostly just sit in the shadows of our site. Thus, I would rather you to report it instead of posting about a nonexistent issue.
If we decided to add vpn blockers and things to detect these issues it would likely interfere with the Switch users and proxies some of you have to use which is why we have not done it yet.
I'm sure there are services that are simply there to detect bot traffic which is kind of difficult being that there is a possibility the browser information and device information, plus the unusual activity and requests coming from the users on Switch, ultimately could cause the Switch users to be detected as bot traffic and blocked from using our forum.
