i hate the bsd fandom

so the bungo stray dogs fandom...
not hate, i really like the media just not the fans (it got me into reading books lol)a lot of the fans are very young because its incorrectly rated on crunchyroll and no one really cares that the manga is 16+ which means theres lots of younger people (like 12 year olds) so most (not all) of the fanmade content has very little effort put into it.
this also means that a lot of the people reading/watching it are exposed to inappropriate themes which are featured in a lot of older literature when theyre too young which is obviously not good.
on top of that, a lot of fans are easily influenced by the characters behaviours, particularly with dazai. mental illness is not cool, funny or aesthetic and literally kills people every day. but to certain individuals in the fandom, its the coolest thing ever. as someone who has struggled with mental health for a long time, i find this particularly upsetting.
