Shameless UK vs US

I've been trying to find full episodes of Shameless US for ages but recently I stumbled upon Shameless UK, and here's my thoughts.
Although the quality is worse (because it was made in 2004) it is still up there. It's funny even up to today's standards and the characters are easy to relate to. I may be biased because 1, i'm British and 2, I've only seen full episodes of the British version but I wish the UK version was as popular as the US version. The US version is better, but the UK version isn't too far behind. But those are just my thoughts, what's yours? -

the move 9 is rated PG-13 in the US, it was PG-13 in the UK but they bumped it up to an R rating bc it was too scary. did something like this happen here so you can't watch the US version or something?
