forum services thoughts

i love how forum services ether has people join and do absolutely nothing or they join and start halling ass on stuff, like i've obviously been here for a while and raven did actually inform me im now forum services manager lol but i genuinely haven't seen any in between, like seriously, @sofie would have newsletters out like instantly and if you were here in October and remembered the gravity falls arg event (that was unfortunately cancelled due to lack of players :'c) yeah.... that was mostly me lol, i put a lot of effort into dat >:{ but yeah lol, ik most of the users are mods but man, forum services is just so.... idk uneaven? i think the whole staff shortage thingis kinda over blown bc of how small we are, i think 2 or 3 people for forum services isn't too bad and any more might actually be waaaayyy to many ngl. idk weird rant ig just some of my thoughts

i feel like this site is pretty damn self destructive, the reason most might argue we need more mods is because of the post queue, i think instead of that, just get rid of it or implement a system that limits it to frequent offenders or people who've been banned in the last 6 months or something. and if someone does something, just ban/warn them. ik warnings don't usually work as people don't really care tbh. i'd rather risk someone posting something saying ''67'' than basically penalizing
literally all new users not in vip
just because they might do something. the long wait for posts to get approved interfears with people just posting because it might be 12 hours before a mod comes online to approve it, making it so the like 2 people online with vip membership can actually post a comment on a post witch fucking destroys the concept of a goddamn forum istg there's gotta be a better way to handle ts because this just sucks.

VIP is how that system works, it isn't that hard to ask a Global for VIP! I'm sure they wouldn't mind giving it to you as long as you behave.
