I'm sorry you're feeling like this, it sounds sweet that you took the time to write that note AND buy him a present. Try communicate your feelings towards this, afterall that's the key to relationships. He might've not realized he'd upset you and probably didn't think it through. Don't always jump straight towards a breakup at one thing, you might regret it later. Best of luck to you, and happy valentines!
