Typing Quirks

In my opinion (not saying it's fact) I think 'typing quirks' are really annoying and surely are just harder to type out anyway, let alone understand. I think they make people look like they're trying to be 'different' and uh- 2020 core (We all cringe for that one </3)

I wouldn't necessarily make a rule against this specifically, but make a rule that outlines this area as a whole as I am sure there will be a new variation of this in about a year or so.

@Raven For me, its easy to type that way. But i'm the only guy lol.
I use it to difference myself from FLIPSIDE
(Who was explained in our profile, but it didnt save. (Turned off Switch)
Currently remaking it lol. -

But then surely that defeats the whole point of the site? I'd understand if like- you were dyslexic and had trouble spelling because that's beyond your control but when it's something as stupid as adding a 0 into words unnecessarily that's where I get lost. You have the ability to write English, so write it. Even I have difficulty reading it, can't imagine what it's like for people with dyslexia -w-

@Aries support, i feel ya on that. i have friends that i dont respond good and end up confusing some- bc they do like "0m6 h0w are y0u" and it confuse me sometimes causing misunderstandings

maybe we just leave it as typing quirks are fine, BUT if you're in DMs and someone asks you to stop typing like that (obviously if your keyboard is broken or something you don't have to do so) you just type normally, doesn't have to be enforced, it can just be something you do to be a decent person, like, there's no rule against flooding my DMs with the most flashy, bright, strobe light GIFS you can find; you'd just not so you don't give me a seizure.

@sighniu no, it's not on you lol, that statement was directed tords the hypothetical person tryna message you, why even message someone if they don't know what it says. it'd be like if I started typing in hexagonal code to @spamburger on discord and they had no idea what they was looking at

So I've seen many different users use things like numbers or special characters as letter substitutes for speaking. This isn't problematic, however it could be significantly harder to read for those with reading disabilities. So, if you'd like to type like that, I think it's fair to require translation at the end for those born with issues reading. Ex: 3x@mp13 // Example. I would like opinions on this rule in the comments before implementation
@NightmareWolfie I like the idea I don't think it should 100% be like you have to but I do think if someone ask you to stop (primarily in shoutbox or any other public area) if it's actually causing an issue that's when it gets to the point or like if any staff is trying to talk to you Abt an issue and they ask you to stop etc that's when I think it should be enforced cause it someone random can't read what you're typing in shoutbox that's really not that bad and shouldn't affect the person typing unless there's something serious going on and it turns into an actual issue
