these tags are brand new, there wasn't a chance for prices to naturally get higher over time, unless these items "naturally" get more expensive in like two weeks. the issue with this is the tags don't reflect the price, the new digital tags show the "old" price from about two weeks ago before they added the digital tags-or hell,
one thing I bought appeared to be on sale and was cheaper than the original tag said but ended up being even more than the non-on-sale price prior to the new tags being added.
basically, on multiple unrelated items they increased the price but kept old prices or claimed they were on sale. I believe this is predatory. they could be doing this on purpose because most people would rather pay a bit more than ask to have these items removed from their purchase. I feel like this could be something they can and will likely get sued over.
yeah, uh if you're going to walmart, don't do it on a tight budget and have extra money just in case you are scammed.
(btw, these numbers I mentioned DO NOT include tax, this is based souly before taxes.)

tbf, this might be only an issue in my region. you might be fine if you are somewhere else in the country or in the word.
