Downvotes are anonymous now

title, i dont think this is good it feels like it might turn into reddit-type voting where it's an anonymous echo-chamber where there's just downvotes for zero reason, plus if you don't like something it's better to be honest. It's also disjointed because upvotes aren't anonymous.
It prevents people from getting mad at downvotes and targeting whoever but those people are going to be toxic anyway (there was a guy who did this to me but got banned right after). Plus, it discourages actually commenting why you dont like something in favor of complete anonymity (it's kind of an anonymous forum anyway this just makes downvotes used more often when it's not necessary). It results in more actual downvote attacks

@Raven i mean like, they'd still be able do even if it weren't anonymous
Plus doesn't leaving a reply kind of defeat the purpose of an anonymous downvote, since people would just assume that you also downvoted

yes, I was referring to the people who wish to not have their downvote anonymous and provide feedback

@Raven Wait then what about anonymous downvotes? Why were they made anonymous?
@UnpaidIntern i guess bec people made it an issue, normally raven says we caused things so i assume this is another punishment and people did smth wrong.
raven only invokes a punishment if we do something wrong repeatedly if i remember, im ASSUMING that because staff can still see, some user did something like arguing abt it.
