I decided to walk to my local shop to buy some drink mix and bleach but at the check out counter my card declined to pay for under 10 cents of the purchuse and I didn't think to bring coins so I was likely extremely red in the face and I was flustered, the person checking me out ended up covering it for me and I think I said thank you but i'm not sure, I was apologizing and just so embarrased I don't know if I was making much sense tbh, I am pretty shy.
I had some of my drink mix and I used some of my bleach to paint on a pair of black shorts but tbh, the fact that someone else payed for a bit of what I had embarrassed me quite a bit and it's still bothering me now. I hope the cashier doesn't think I did it on purpose and I'm a greedy lil brat who will do it again. I basically see the cashier daily or every other day so it's quite awkward.

@Yanderemenhera Those are really cool and creative. about the cashier covering the rest for you, don't be embarrassed about that. That's happened to me at LEAST 3 times, and they always seem to be happy to help. if it's anything over a dollar, I put things back (THATS WHEN IT GETS AWKWARD) but since it was less than ten cents, I really don't think you have anything to worry about.
The last time that happened to me was literally last Sunday. Me and 2 of my siblings walked to a gas station 3 blocks away to get a drink. I at first tried to get a glass Dr pepper because I couldn't find a regular can (I only had $7 with me) the total for all 3 of our drinks came to around $10, so I put the glass back. she gave me the last can she found, but it was still almost $1 over. she happily covered it for me. but anyways. I don't know about your cashier. I'm sure they didn't mind.

@Yanderemenhera drink mix and bleach? Who are you tryna kill? I always found that mixing bleach and milk works great, if they drink milk. you could also always just Bake it into a cake, no-one would know the difference. Drink mix woh't hide it well tho
