Dropping the Discord requirement is the part worth noting, since some people who'd be good at this just don't use it. The intake is likely the bottleneck, though, not the channel. A submission form only tells you so much, so I'd expect a short scenario or two in the review to see how applicants actually reason through a call. Good luck to everyone who applied.
