@Husker don't let her stop you its who you are, also my mom says she "supports" me for being a furry but ik she doesn't because she always complains how how they apparently "act like an animal" but that's not true, that's a very small percentage of ppl who do. Hey, gear wearer here, heres my advice: Maybe say its a bag accessory, or its inspired from early 2000's scene culture. My family is supportive, but these are excuses i've used with people. Remember, no matter what anyone, anyone says, just be you. Im sorry your mom isnt exactly ideal about your alterhumanity, but I hope this helps!

thank you so much for this advice but my mom will never let me take my tail (not because she is unsupportive but because It took so much time to make) out and my dad still thinks it's a cosplay and he says that cosplays ar not to be worn everywhere... for the bag accessory excuse, It wont work because I'm not the guy that gets tons of these and It is quite big. also my class Is super judgemental... thank you so much anyways! :3
