shoutbox breaking dns? (switch)

upon clicking on the shoutbox icon, the entire site will freeze to a point of taking 4 minutes to refresh (from the would you like to reload this ste error). i cannot access it anymore. it also causes a tremendous lag spike, so even typing a single letter takes about ~5 seconds before itll show up in the message box. ive reopened dns several times, but it doesnt appear to be working. its only with shoutbox.

Maybe it's tryna load too many things cuz thats where the most things are. Or maybe its from that new user spamming the gifs earlier they put like 8 gifs in and whenever u open the chats it goes a little back in the chat then goes back to normal, at least in my experience.
