November 7, 2022 | 9 commentsMary J. Goyette, 74, of Holmen, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2022 at Pineview Nursing Home in Black River Falls. She was born April 1st, 1948 to Donald and Betty Novacek.
Mary was a Sunday School teacher for many years. She enjoyed watching Gun Smoke, Little House on the Prairie, Everybody Loves Raymond, and any dog shows. Her favorite food was KFC. She loved plants and flowers, she couldn’t wait for Lilacs to bloom so she could bring a vase full into her house.
Mary is survived by her sons, Michael (Carrie) Goyette, John (Kara) Goyette; grandchildren, Aaron (Sarah) Goyette, Alex (Lindsey) Goyette, Tricia (Mark) Herandez, Casey Goyette, Emma Goyette, Anna Goyette, Sophie Goyette, Raina Goyette, Kylie Zochert, Kenna Zochert, Riston Zochert; great-grandchildren, Chloe and Oliver Goyette, Bethany Berberich, Avery and Deacon Hernandez, Travis Davis, Jr; brothers, David (Karen) Novecek, William (Karen) Cordier; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Goyette; parents, Donald Novacek and Betty Cordier, Edward and Hattie Jaromine; and brother, Rusty Cordeir.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at 11:00 am at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1500 Sand Lake Rd. Holmen, WI. with visitation from 10:00 am until the time of the service. Interment will be held at Long Coulee Cemetery in Holmen. There will also be visitation from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Wednesday, November 9th, 2022 at The Gathering Place, 133 Mason St. Onalaska.
Everyone asks at some point. Why everyone fears me. And it stands as a reminder..
